This CD is the brand new publication - especially for Jazz fans that play drums - on our 'Groove it' label by Tunesday Records (Berlin) which was especially founded to supply active musicians with groovy playbacks (playalongs) produced on a high level.

The CD offers the perfect accompanying band for all drummers that like to practice with a 'bandfeeling'. Drummers can play along to the solos of saxophone, trumpet, piano, guitar etc. together with the contrabass and the piano in authentic Jazz-Grooves. The volume relation between the constant accompanying instruments (bass and piano) can be regulated with the pan-control of the stereo.

The CD has an ingenious structure: apart from various Jazz-Grooves (Swing, Latin, ballads etc.) there are Drum-Groove-examples to each playback.

The CD has been produced on the suggestion of engaged drummers, music traders as well as percussion teachers. It is the direct answer to our first two Drum-Playback-CDs 'Playback for Drummers Vol. 1 & 2'. Tunesday Records wants to fulfil the demand for a special Jazz-Playalong-CD for drummers with this CD. The total length of the CD is 78:56 minutes which is only 2 seconds less than what you could get with the glasmaster.

Publisher of the CD is Stefan Berker who is already known for his other Jazz-Playback-CDs as well as his two textbooks 'Jazz Basic 1 & 2'. In addition to that Stefan Berker is the musical leader of the Jazz-Club 'Schlot' in Berlin and he was the founder of the former Jazz&Rock School Berlin. The first CD (Vol.1) of the series was produced by the Groove it-publisher Jörg Sieghart who earned some great press comments with the CD 'Playbacks for Drummers Vol.1' as well as with his CDs 'Playbacks for Improvisation' (for leadinstruments).
